My baby sister

My baby sister Kenzi turned 15 this last Saturday! I can't believe how big she is getting. I love you tonz Kenzi and wish you the best birthday. Just don't scare us all to bad now that you will have a driving learners permit! :-) Kenzi life is dance and friends. I have been blessed to go to many of her dance performances and have been so impressed at what a beautiful dancer she has become. Keep up the good work friend!

Good times

I went to the doctor's last Thursday and everything is looking good. I have only gained 1 pound. My ultra sound and blood test came back normal. Those are always good things to hear when you go to the doctor. The doc did change my due date from Oct. 5 to Oct 12. I would put pictures of my belly up but I still think I look fat not pregnant so maybe next time.
On Saturday Jeremy and I went to the oval races at RMR, it was so much fun. I have never been to races like that. I like the loud cars! :-) But I'm thinking the baby doesn't she moved around all night while we were there, that is the most I have felt her this whole pregnancy. It's fun though, I like feeling her. Other than that our lives have pretty much been the same. We are still in limbo over Jeremy's job and insurance but I'm sure everything will work out. We haven't had as much luck with the house selling, but our house is staying really clean!!! ;-)

Life Happens

The last couple weeks have been pretty good with the pregnancy. I have been feeling a ton better and have felt like a person again! My stomach is starting to poke out and I have been feeling my stomach stretch a lot in the past few days. I have also been feeling baby girl move a lot me these days. I think it is fun to lay there and feel her. I just wish Jeremy could feel it! I'm sure he will soon enough. I'm not even sure around when others can start feeling the baby. We still haven't come up with a name. We have thrown around a lot of names but none that have stuck. So we would love suggestions!

The annoying part of the last few weeks has been that Jeremy's company is changing at work so he has been going threw a lot of stuff with that. He has had to basically reapply for his job, we have to change insurance, his leave has started over, etc. We found out the other day that we aren't going to have any insurance the month of June, So wish us luck nothing happens in that month! I'm going to try and apply for baby your baby or something but I'm not sure I can. I'm sure everything will work out but of course this has to happen when I'm five months into my pregnancy! Annoying........

I have also started watching Jeremy cousin (Amber) little girl Madalynn (2 years old) during the week. So far it is going really well and it keeps me busy. She is a really good girl and isn't much trouble. Well that's our life kind of in a nut shell the past couple weeks.

It's a..........

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!

These didn't turn out to good but the face picture is a profile view and her arm is up right by her nose. She was in the wrong position (of course Jeremy's child wouldn't cooperate! like father like daughter!) she had her spine up against my belly so the lady had to shake my stomach a lot to get her to rotate to get any pictures. And she kept flashing the lady with what sex she was but we never could get a great picture. Jeremy was pretty cute at the appointment he didn't realize how much the baby moves. He thought it was a slow motion thing and the baby just slept. He learning all kinds of new things! We have another ultrasound on Monday (our regular one, this one was for a study) so maybe she will be nicer then. Now Jeremy and I need to work on a name!

Baby Blanket

So when I was down in St. George my sister Keesha, my mom and I made the baby its first blanket! It was so much fun. After it took a min to set up the quilting frame we got it done really fast and I am very happy with the end results. (just don't look to close at the edges haha I'm a beginner when it comes to sewing!) let me know how we did! And hopefully I will be able to update the blog tomorrow with what the sex of the baby is!

Birthday and Adoption

Jarryn's adoption
Keesh and me last year

Today is my older sister Keesha's 28th birthday and yesterday Greg officially adopted Jarryn! It was a big week in the Brook's household. I just wanted to wish my sister the happiest birthday, and I'm sorry you have to work. I guess the older you get, birthday's don't mean the same. I love you and am so glad I'm down here to see you for your birthday. I am so glad everything went relitivly well with the adoption. They did have a little fight from Sean (Jarryn's ex dad!) but after a little bit he signed over his rights and Greg is now the proud papa. We love you Greg and am glad you came into Keesha's life.
