Twilight

I almost forgot to tell everyone. One of my very best friends Lauren is taking me to the premier of TWILIGHT for my birthday!!!! I am so excited, I couldn't have asked for a better present. I can't wait to go and hang out with you Lauren!! :) Love you tonz.

Fun Adventures

My mother-in-law Patti and I went to see my sister-in-law Natalie in Austin, TX. It was a great trip, I would have to say I love TX at least what I have seen of it. Its beautiful out there. We flew there on Thursday which was an all day flying. We left at 5am and didn't get there until 9pm there time. Flying standby means you may not get on flights. So we couldn't get on the straight flight there so we had to fly to Atlanta and then back to San Antonio (instead of Austin) and Natalie came and picked us up. On Friday we went and rented a row boat for about an hour. It was quite interesting watching us try to figure it out. Natalie and I started but I couldn't quite get the hang of it so Patti switched me spots and she did it a lot better than I was. Natalie was a pro!! We went around the river for awhile and had a lot of fun. We saw a lot of birds and Turtles. At one point Natalie decided to make us go in a circle in the boat it was fun but by the time I got the camera out to record it she was getting tired of it so I only got a short video. That night we went out to a REALLY good BBQ place called Salt Lick. You bring your own booze which is nice because most of the places you go to charge and arm and leg for drinks. Jay (Natalie's friend) went with us also. After dinner we went and got pumpkins. Natalie and I carved a pumpkin each, they turned out really cool. Mine is the skull one, I cheated and used a pattern. While we were carving the pumpkins Bailey (Natalie's dog) wanted to eat the pumpkin, But mom said NO! After a min. of watching it she laid her head down on my leg begging for some. I don't think I have carved a pumpkin in over three years. On Saturday we drove to Fredrickburg where we went to a food and wine tasting fest. I was glad I got to go try different kinds of wine. I found that I love Sweet Red wine and I don't mind White Zinfandel. They had a lot of different types of Jams/Jelly's I guess that pretty big out there. I like the Raspberry/Peach/Chipotle jelly the best, But I wasn't able to buy any. :( That night we went to dinner at a place called Ratskeller. I know.... it sounds interesting. It was really good and the place was in the basement! Hens the name!! On Sunday we shopped around for awhile and then headed back to Austin. We just hung out the rest of the time at Natalie's. I don't know if Natalie will want me to put this in here but I have to. Bailey her dog is funny, she licks the carpet all the time. I'm not sure what she likes about it but maybe she has anxiety. I put a video on to show you, she didn't do it for very long because Jay got there. It was a great trip and ended with a straight flight home! :)

Post #2: A day out with friends

Today Nick and I went out with my friend Amy, her son Tate and the little boy she nanny's Josh. We went to Gardner Village, for halloween they have it all decorated. Because neither one of us has any money we just walked around and talked. We took the boys out for a few pictures but didn't ever get a very good one. Its hard to get three 1 year olds to sit still for a picture. Imagine that!!!! Oh and Joshua was on a suicide mission all day, he kept trying to jump out of the stroller. I think both Amy and I decided we don't ever want twins or more at the same time. Three little tykes for one hour was plenty. It was a fun day and I hope we play with friends again! :) with all this babysitting Nick it really make me want my own children. I'm hoping its soon, but still no luck.

Patti, Me, Randi, and Jamie

My nephew Nick's birthday is Oct.26 but because Patti and I will be out of town we did a party this last sunday. He is turning the big 1!!! :) Patti, Randi, and I got together last friday and made two cakes. One was a bear that was going to be all Nicks and one for the rest of us. Then on sunday we had the party at Grandma patti's and grandpa Trips house. Uncle Shane and Aunt Jamie also came. We had dinner and then opened presents. He got a bus to ride on and walk with, a laughing dog (it laughs when you push its belly and says to not tickle him), the new elmo doll (which apparently might be pretty big this year for christmas so I guess he is lucky he got one!) and of course clothes. Then we took of his clothes and went in for cake. We all know how the first birthday cake goes!!! He wasn't sure about it at first but then when we handed it to him he went crazy. He ate alot of that cake!!!

Walking

So I have been watching my nephew Nick and he has been so much fun to watch and play with. He has been learning how to walk in the last few weeks so I decided to video him and put it up. I think he is one of the most cutest kids but I guess that's what aunts usually say! :)

I also took some pictures because I don't think you need toys or a house decorator. All you need is a kid and a draw full of utensils!!!! Thanks Nick!

Update

Well I finally decided to write a new post. I haven't written in awhile cause I like to have pictures with my posts, but unfortunately you will not be getting pictures with this post. Anyways, lets see two weekends ago I went down to St. George with Janica and her three kids. I went to visit with my family, ever sense mine and my sisters wedding I really haven't been down. So I took the opportunity. Which I am so glad I did. I got to hang out with my mom a lot. It was so nice to just sit and do puzzles with her. We got to talk and not really have anything else we HAD to do. I miss spending time with my family. I also got a hair cut while I was there. I ended up cutting bangs!!! It was kind of scary cause it took me awhile to grow them out in high school, but I really like them now. If I take a picture soon I will post it so you can see what my hair looks like! The drive to and from St. George was nice also. I don't know if a lot of people know but Janica and I had a fall out about two years ago and have just started hanging out again, so it was really nice to have those 5 hours to just talk like old times. And it was fun to sing silly songs with the kids and play I Spy with my little eye!!! :) Other than that my week has just been busy with work. Last weekend I spent a lot of time with my mother-in-law, baby sitting my nephew Nick. His mom Randi had to have a surgery so we were helping her out. Well I guess that's an update on me so far. And if anyone is wondering about Jeremy, He just works!!! hahaha someone has to make the money around here for me to go play! :) j/k
