This last weekend we attended a few events. First Kimberly, Ali, and I attended Danielle's baby shower. (I didn't get any pictures) It was fun and Kimberly loved playing in Kay's grandma's playroom. Ali did pretty good but got fussy at the end. Then we went home and got daddy and headed up to a wedding. On the way there Ali cried almost the whole way!!! We took her out of her seat and she seemed happy. Even gave grandma Patti a huge smile. After hanging out at the wedding, which was at the history museum (I just wish it would have been open to walk around and explore, we will have to go back up there) we headed home and on the way home Ali cried the whole way again. When we got home she was still a little fussy but after feeding her and bundling her up she calmed down and went to bed. I was worried she was going to start being colicy but the next day she was good. (Thank goodness!)

*On a side note this day we also took back the crib we bought for Ali. We have gotten the cribs that convert into a toddler bed and then a full size bed. When we called to get the full size bed rails they had discontinued them! So we have to find another crib for her. (Patti said that is why Ali was so fussy this day, we took her crib back!) I hope we find one soon we like and is a descent price!
On Sunday we put some decorations up in Kimberly's room (still need to take a picture) and then took the girls down the school by our house. It was a pretty warm day so we didn't stay long but while we were there we tried to fly a kite. Kimberly did a good job when we got it up in the air but the wind kept dying so it wouldn't stay up long. We will have to go and try it again.

On Monday: Kimberly wanted to take a picture, I think she did a pretty good job! Baby Ali wasn't so sure about the glasses! ha ha
It was Kimberly and Nick's first day of swim lessons on Monday. I wasn't sure how Kimberly would do (with not ever really being around water) but she did really good. She was nervous (of course). She didn't want to do most of the things at first but the teacher was really good and made her feel comfortable.
