Update

Well I finally decided to write a new post. I haven't written in awhile cause I like to have pictures with my posts, but unfortunately you will not be getting pictures with this post. Anyways, lets see two weekends ago I went down to St. George with Janica and her three kids. I went to visit with my family, ever sense mine and my sisters wedding I really haven't been down. So I took the opportunity. Which I am so glad I did. I got to hang out with my mom a lot. It was so nice to just sit and do puzzles with her. We got to talk and not really have anything else we HAD to do. I miss spending time with my family. I also got a hair cut while I was there. I ended up cutting bangs!!! It was kind of scary cause it took me awhile to grow them out in high school, but I really like them now. If I take a picture soon I will post it so you can see what my hair looks like! The drive to and from St. George was nice also. I don't know if a lot of people know but Janica and I had a fall out about two years ago and have just started hanging out again, so it was really nice to have those 5 hours to just talk like old times. And it was fun to sing silly songs with the kids and play I Spy with my little eye!!! :) Other than that my week has just been busy with work. Last weekend I spent a lot of time with my mother-in-law, baby sitting my nephew Nick. His mom Randi had to have a surgery so we were helping her out. Well I guess that's an update on me so far. And if anyone is wondering about Jeremy, He just works!!! hahaha someone has to make the money around here for me to go play! :) j/k

So I'm alittle over a day late posting this but Sept. 22 was a year sense Jeremy proposed to me!!! Crazy how fast time flies, I'm sure I will be writing about our first anniversary before I know it. I also wanted to let Jeremy know that I love him so much and am so glad he decided to propose to me and make me his wife. I couldn't have asked for a better husband. Love you babe! I would also like to give a shout to my mom her birthday is today sept 23 ( I know I'm writing this at 1 in the morning but its still her birthday! I love you mom and am so glad I am your daughter. You are the best mom!! I hope you have a great birthday and we will have to go out on a date when I come down this weekend.

BARKING

Ok so I got home from work today with a note on my front door that said "YOUR DOG BARKS ALL DAY LONG!!" I thought great!!! We have had problems with this in the past and have tried a bark collar. I guess why I'm so frustrated with this is that he only does it when we are not home. so for the 5 hours we leave him alone everyday is his "barking time" I don't know if anyone can help us with this one but if you can we would love the advice. Just don't anyone say "get rid of him" cause then I don't know if we could be friends anymore! j/k hahaha

Remembering 9/11/01

I just wanted to give my family a little shot and tell them how much I love each and everyone of you. I don't know if you all know but My mom, aunt Traci, Grandma Grammi J, cousins Chandler and Corbin, my sisters Kylee and Kenzi and I were in New York on Sept. 11, 2001. Before the terrorist attack it had been a great trip we had been there for a week and were headed home that morning (9/11) I'll give you a little insight just for all of you that would like to know: On Sept 10 the night before my family and I were out sight seeing, one of the stops we were going to see was the twin towers. After along day of seeing things and trying to figure out there subways (which was impossible) we had taken the wrong one. So we were deciding if we should call it a night and go to the twin towers then next morning before leaving. We well all decided that we had gone this far we might as well go and try to see them. We arrived at the twin towers around 9 p.m. the guard almost didn't let us up but we begged and he did. We were some of the last visitors up in the twin towers. There was only about 10 other people up there with us. It was amazing! The view was breath taking. I remember the clouds would come by and cover the window. It was crazy how high we were. After walking around and learning some new things about New York and the towers we headed back down. I still remember looking up at them from the bottom and thinking how amazing it was. I wish I would have taken a picture but unfortunately I didn't. So the next morning my mom, aunt, cousins, sisters, and I had went down for breakfast we were all in our flying clothes ready to go to the airport. We had left my grandma back at the hotel to get ready. While we were waiting for our breakfast the guy that worked there kept turning up the radio so it was so loud. We couldn't figure out why and were started to get upset. Well then we noticed in the streets that everyone was running. So we asked what was going on and he told us that a plane and struck the twin towers. We of course dropped everything and ran back to the hotel which was 40 blocks from the twin tower. From the street we could see smoke. When we returned to the hotel we had to run up I believe it was 20 floors because they had turned the elevators off or we didn't feel comfortable riding in them (I can't remember) It was along 20 flights that's for sure and I was doing it in heels (which I ended up taking off after 10 or so flights) but anyways by the time we got to my grandma's room the second plane had hit and grammi said she saw it on the T.V. We were so scared trying to figure out what was going on and what we were going to do. while we were watching it all on T.V. we saw the first building fall. After a little while a couple of us went down the street and took some pictures as the second building fell. It was so creepy! I remember that every time a plane flew overhead EVERYONE stopped on the streets to look up and see if we were getting attacked again. I also remember that we were trying to get a hold of people home to let my dad, uncle, sister, and grandpa know we were ok. (because we fly no rev. so we could have been on one of the flights if we had decided to leave earlier that morning. Creepy I know!) I remember when we got home my dad told us about when they found out also. My dad and uncle had been hunting so of course no radio's, no phone, no T.V. One of the guys there were hunting with found them on the four wheelers and told them that the twin towers had been hit my plane. My dad and uncle said that was the longest 45 mins. of there life trying to get down the mountain to where they could get phone service. This all happen Tuesday which I'm sure you all remember and we didn't end up getting home until Sunday. Luckily we had not checked out of our hotel so we stayed there for a few more nights. We then took a train to Connecticut on Friday were we stayed with some of my grandma's friends. Saturday we took a flight from Connecticut to Cincinnati stayed over night there and then flew to Las Vegas were my dad and uncle came to pick us up. I will say I was quiet the emotional one at the time. After it happened I told my mom "I WAS NOT FLYING" but she told me there was no other way to get home. I was still determined I was not flying until I talked to my dad and he told me I was going to be fine! I guess I am kind of a daddy's girl because I did feel a little bit better. I'm sure there is a lot more but every year I remember that trip and thank my lucky stars that god and his guardian angels were looking after us and got us home safe! I wouldn't have gotten through it without my family especially my mom. She was a rock for us, I'm sure she was scared to death those days trying to get her, her sister, her mom, nephews, and daughters home!! I love you mom and couldn't have asked for a better one. :) Another cool thing about this date or well I guess 9/10 is that Jeremy was in the Navy and was released on Sept. 10, 2001 THE DAY BEFORE!!!! I didn't know him at the time but I thank god everyday for him getting released. He was driving through Washington D.C. on 9/11 with his dad. All I can says is there is a god and I do believe in guardian angels!

Fair and Zoo

Me by the tigers!

Well........Yesterday Jeremy and I went to the Utah State Fair! We love the fair, looking at all the animals and different booths. I loved seeing the tigers, they were beautiful. We spend a good 4 hours there and after a little while of being there Patti and Trip came and joined us. Jeremy recently decided he wants a fainting goat!!!! Yeah I'm sure your thinking the same thing I did "why!!!" well he just love that you can go up and scare them and they go stiff and fall over. He laughs at himself every time he tells me. Got to love him!!! After the fair we went to my favorite place "Leatherby's" mmmm.......
Today I went to Hogle Zoo with my friends Lauren and Janica. We brought all the kids Camden, A.J. (Laurens) and Ariana, Gerry, and Anela (Janicas) and Janica's sister-in-law T. I also brought my nephew Nick. We haven't done anything together forever so it was fun. I think the kids had a lot of fun even though we were not going fast enough for there liking! :) I think Nicks favorite animal was the black bear. He just wanted to sit and look at them forever. and then when I would growl at him he would laugh and laugh. He also liked the giraffes. We then went to Janica's house to have a lunch and pie for Ariana's 5th birthday (it was on sept. 4) I can't believe how big she has gotten. Can't wait to do something with them again. Love you girls!!! :)

Happy Birthday Jeremy

I just wanted to give a little shout out to the best husband ever. Today is Jeremy's 29th birthday!! I can't believe he is almost 30. Jeremy has been my best friend for the past 5 years and I'm sure he will be for the rest of my life. He is the best thing that has come into my life, I couldn't have asked for anything more!! I love you babe.

For Jeremy's birthday we went camping. We both love the mountains (we I guess the three of us do, I can't forget Rover) On Friday Patti, Trip, Grandma and Grandpa Dyches came up just for the day. We went for a ride and found a lake no body in the family knew about, While grandma made us dutch oven roast for dinner. After they left we just hang out by the fire. Both of us get mesmerised by the fire so we sat around that for a while. Then on saturday we went back to the lake and tried some fishing, unfortinatly we didn't get anything, but Rover sure had a fun time in the water and chasing the birds. We finally got him to actually swim, he is kind of afraid of the water so we had to coach him a bit for him to go, but he did. Then today we went on a four wheeler ride to another Lake and played in the water trying to catch little inch long fish. We ended up catching about 9. We had Rover run on both the rides we went on so now that we are home he barely gets up to get a treat, we wore our poor puppy right out. Jeremy and I would have loved to stay up there longer!! But I guess we have to come back and make some money.
